  Last night, this cute baby swallow visited us. Oh, boy! Ｉt was such a sweet, very modest² little guest.

  This time again(I’ll explain this later), our dog, Ichigo, was an important key! On the way back from the night walk, Ichigo found this baby! It was raining and the road was wet, so the surface of the road was reflecting the street lights³ and it was hard to see things. According to Will, first Ichigo reacted to something on the street near our house. Will thought it was a big toad⁴ sitting on the road. As they got closer to the frog-looking creature, it turned out to be⁵ a very wet baby swallow. 

  The little swallow was probably scared_⁶ or confused⁷ being away from its parents. It was very quiet. We wiped the kidling⁸, and put it on the plants on our balcony so that it wouldn’t be run over⁹ by a car or attacked by a cat.

  When we went back to the balcony the next moment, the swallow had already flown away. We hope that it was able to find its way back to its family.

  This time, it was a swallow, and the last time what Ichigo brought to this family was our now feline¹⁰ daughter, Tasha. Yes! The cat who showed up in the former blog. Our dog is always connecting us to many different people and things.
