Dogs in the Modern Time

As you see in one of the photos on the homepage, we have a dog in our house
. If you have a dog, you know it’s time to give the medicine for filaria. The parasite1 is conveyed2 by mosquitos. This thread-shaped worm surrounds3 the heart and can kill the dog. ( Oh my! I just realized where this word comes from. "Fil" in French means "thread"!  )

This year again, finally I remembered filaria season a bit late and I quickly took our dog to the vet4. He gave Ichigo, our dog, a blood test, made sure she doesn’t have the disease and gave the pills5

… and do you know what the pills are like? The pills she gets are like this:

Wow this is for dogs? It is too cute! It shouldn’t GO TO THE DOGS6! (^-^)v

I used to wrap the pill with a small piece of bacon and push it way back7 into her mouth so that she wouldn’t spit it out8. However, this improved9 version of the pill, not only looks but also the taste was upgraded. She swallows10 that pill as if11 she were eating a snack!  Sorry, but just onee a month!
