◆Itsy-bitsy Spider 2

Itsy-bitsy Spider 2

The second interesting thing from our garden is ・・・ "What kind of thread are you using?"

I gave it a double take. What on earth? I’ve never seen such thick spider’s thread. From its thickness and flatness, it looked like a special thread that we use for flossing.

And looking at how the spider wove the web with it in a zigzag, it looked like he or she is using the web carerfully, mending it after it got a ladder in it just like panty hose. Is he or she the type who uses things carefully and keeps them a longtime? Of course, I know that is not what it is. Oh, well, how dexterous, anyway!

It is said that horizontal thread is the sticky one to catch bugs, but what is that thread for, really?

By the way, when you see small spiders weaving their huge webs elaborately for a long time, don’t you almost want to say "Good job!"

So, it doesn’t necessarily mean I like spiders, but I feel a little bit guilty for taking their webs down because their time and labor will go for nothing. (;0;)” (Actually, I have to clean up cobwebs around our house pretty soon… Sorry ! )
