(This is a revised version of the original blog which was uploaded on February, 1. I have rewritten it)
I just wrote a blog yesterday, but here’s one more topic that I want to talk about before the 2nd comes.
Believe it or not, the certificate1 that I got recently for the German test was dated2 February 2. Today is the 1st. I actually got it on January 12. "What?" f(^-^? — I was really confused.
Well, humankind is not perfect. I guess they simply made a mistake, by typing February instead of January. I kind of enjoyed this human scent3 on the certificate. This mysterious certificate.

Since I didn’t understand what was written, I used a Google translation camera and screenshot it. Then, the name of the head of the organization came up wrong. The signed name and the typed name were different. The next day I totally forgot this photo was not the authentic version of my certificate and I saw the signature saying Mario and the typed one saying Mari. I thought "A guy or a woman?" (Of course this was just a google translation camera trick!)
Then, I googled the two names — Mari or Mario Kumekawa, but this misunderstanding led me to a very interesting discovery!
I was totally astonished4 to get to know who this guy is. He got a master’s degree in German Literature, but he started his career as a sports writer, specializing in5 boxing! He is now a professor at keio University. And not only that, he is deeply interested in jazz, and I found a radio program, "The Lifestyle Museum" by Peter Barakan, where Mr. Kumekawa talked about music and was on air on June 21, 2024. Wow! A very interesting guy!
My mind was really blown6! A lot of interesting discoveries!
Thanks to my stupid mistake, I bumped into7 extra interesting information. Life is the same? Rather than going straight, taking a winding road can be interesting!
p.s. I have been taking many different language tests like Enligh of course, French, Spanish, Italian, but this certificate was by far the smallest size of all — a post card size! lol8
