A Cute Visitor

 　                    
  Some of you might know that Will plays badminton. On Saturdays and Sundays, he goes to the elementary school gym in our community to play.

  The other day, when he came back from his practice, he started talking about who was there during the practice. I was listening to his story, imagining that some kid was wearing some toy-like costume. So even though Will was telling me the story excitedly, I was not sharing the same excitement. However, the photo he showed me the next moment really struck me! OH, MY GOSH! SO CUUUTE!

  You’ve got to see it!

  Is that cute or what? And here is another one.

 What a cute visitor! I like the feet which don’t go with the rest of the body. Knock, knock! Who on earth is in there? What happened to you? Are you tired? Or are you having a tantrum? Are you just feeling like stretching out on the floor? On this day, it was very hot, by the way. I hope the person inside was not suffering from the itchiness of heat rash.

  That must have been hilarious to be playing badminton seriously and have this creature padding around.

可愛いお客さん

　これを読んでいる方の中でウィルがバドミントンをやっているのを知っている方もいらっしゃいますよね。毎週土曜日と日曜日、バドミントンをしに、近くの小学校の体育館に通っています。。

　先日練習から帰ってくるなり、練習のときに誰がいたかを話し始めました。私はなんか子どもがお遊びのコスチュームでも着ていたんだろうぐらいのイメージで話を聞いていました。ウィルはとても楽しそうに話をしてくれたのですが、私は同じワクワク感は持っていませんでした。でも、次の瞬間ウィルが見せてくれた写真を見たら、思わず、キャー、可愛い！となってしまいました。

　これは見なくちゃ！

　可愛いの何物でもないでしょ？もう一枚あります。

　なんて可愛いお客さんでしょう！体の他の部分と合わない足がまた可愛い。もしもし！一体どなたが入っているの？どうしちゃったの？疲れた？気に入らないことがあっておへそ曲げちゃった？それとも、単に床に寝そべりたいだけ？ところで、この日は、とても暑かった日。この中にいる子、この後あせものかゆさにさいなまれてなかったらいいんだけど。

　大人が真剣にバドミントンを練習している横で、これがパタパタ歩いている様はさぞかし滑稽なことだったでしょうね～。
