A Fresh Delivery from the U.S.!
Do you remember seeing this package somewhere? I think I talked about this in my blog a couple of times in the past1.
Yes!! Our friend came from the states2 again with them. Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU! My favorite cinnamon rolls from Cinnabon.
He’s been here many times now, and every time he comes, he brings me, oops! brings us, my favorite treat3, cinnabon. Since he is getting to be a master of "his job" after experiencing it so many times, this year they came in a bag which keeps things cool. And of course, they are not supposed to be smashed so they don’t go in his luggage, but he keeps them around him as a carry-on4. So, I can’t have them without feeling some special gratitude5.
Now after hearing this story, you can see in this picture his efforts and toil6 and kindness and everything, can’t you?

アメリカからの宅配、ただ今到着！
この箱、どこかで見覚えがありますか？たぶん、過去に２、３回ブログで紹介したと思います。
そうなんです！私たちの友人がまたこれを持ってアメリカから遊びに来ました。ありがとー、ありがとー！！私の大好物のシナボンという店のシナモンロール。
彼はもう何回と日本に来ていて、来るたびに、私に、おっと、私たちに！この大好物シナボンを持ってきてくれるのです。何度も経験を積んだ後で、彼はこの役目を果たす“匠”の域に達しつつあるのです。今年はシナモンロールが保冷バッグに入ってやって来ました。もちろん、つぶされてはいけないので、預け入れ荷物には入らず、機内持ち込み荷物として彼の手元を離れないようにしてやって来ます。だから、これを食べるときは特別な感謝の思いなくしては食べられないのです。。。
それを聞いたら、この写真に彼の努力と徒労と優しさとか何とかがぜ～んぶ見えてくるでしょ？
