◆Getting ready for the rain
Getting Ready for the Rain
I wonder when they will announce the start of rainy season. Or they will make a "belated1 announcement" later? Anyway, it must be soon!
Now in front of our front door, a froggy2 friend is waiting for the rain to fall.
This toad3 is giving us a bit of a laugh every time we pass by and I feel like it wil help us live4 through5 this sulky6 rainy season.
And speaking of rain, they other day when it was drizzling7 in the early evening, I heard a man passing by8 our house on his bike whistling merrily9 "Singing in the Rain". I almost started to accompany10 his whistling, going like "la-fa-so-fa, re-fa, la-fa-so-fa, so-re-fa, la-fa-so-fa, re-fa, la …”, but the windows were open so I whistled my part quietly to myself.
Later, I also had to go to my saxophone lesson in the rain, but thanks to his attitude11, I enjoyed the rain on the way12!
