He Made Them again!
Finally I can mention1 it on my blog.
It’s been a week since White Day. Will has been giving little cupcakes to his students who gave him some chocolate for Valentine’s Day. Starting2 on March 14, it continued for a week. If some students read this blog, it wouldn’t be a surprise present, so I had to refrain from showing3 this homepage-entertaining topic.
He bakes cupcakes on his own, using a French Vanilla Mix, and to make them really White Dayish, he puts white icing on top of them.
As I traced back4 through our blog for White Day stories, I can clearly say this is the first time I didn’t help him at all, not even a tiny bit. The day before White Day, after his classes were over at 9:30 or so, he started the project. He repeated this two times this week so that he could give out relatively5 fresh-from-the-oven6 cupcakes . He did a great job, don’t you think? At one point7, I thought about helping him at least with the wrapping part, but I thought people would rather8 enjoy a man’s wrapping style; not quite pretty but really heart-warming. ( You can tell he struggled to make9 them look nice. )
Anyway, this is the story behind the White Day white cupcakes.
Since now I’m speaking of treats, here is a photo of some Japanese treats that my mom gave us on Girl’s Day.

やっとブログで話せます。
ホワイトデーから一週間。ウィルはバレンタインデーにチョコレートを頂いた方たちに小さなカップケーキを差し上げました。3月１４日から始まり、一週間続きました。このホームページのブログを読んでいる生徒さんもいらっしゃるとなると、サプライズにはならなくなってしまうので、ホームページを楽しませてくれるこのトピックを扱うのは差し控えていたという訳なんです。
フレンチバニラケーキミックス（かなり白っぽいケーキ）を使って、ウィルは自分で焼いたんです。そして、さらにホワイトデーっぽくするために、この上に白いアイシングをのせました。
ホワイトデーのブログをさかのぼってみたら、今回初めて何にも手を貸していなかったんですねぇ。ほんの少しも手伝いませんでした。ホワイトデーの前夜、9:30かそこらにクラスが終わると、プロジェクト開始。これを一週間に2回繰り返しました。少しでも“焼いたばかり”に近いカップケーキを渡そうと。男性の彼が、よくやったと思いませんか?一度、ラッピングを手伝ってあげようかと思いましたが、みなさんがきっと「男のラッピングスタイル」を喜ぶだろうと思い、やめました。美しくないけど、なんか心暖まる感じ・・・とでもいいましょうか。（きれいに見せようと、ああでもないこうでもないと頑張ったのが読みとれたでしょう。）
まあまあ、これがホワイトデーの白いカップケーキの裏話でございます。
丁度甘いものの話になったので、ここでもう一枚お写真をお見せしましょう。母がひな祭りに届けてくれた和菓子です。
なんたって、女性はお菓子の話が好きですものね？f(^-^)
