Little Fun Things around Me! (2)

   The last time I talked about the little plants in my room, I showed the little plant spinning thread. About a month has passed, now it is double in size¹! … and at that time a baby bud on another plant which was just a dot is now growing.

 I just love to discover these little changes on my plants.

  The other day I saw a new kind of succulent² (to me!) in the household³ goods store. It was a bit pricy⁴ (to me!) but I felt a responsibility to take it home with me, not leaving it in the place where there was no sunlight, and now it’s always with me in my room. Each leaf looks like a turtle’s leg sticking up⁵, doesn’t it? So humorous!

  And one more thing, which I just got yesterday. A reddish⁶ kind of succulent. Of course, it’s going to be green in spring, but I can enjoy this pretty color again next fall — If I take care of it!

  Now spring is here! So the flower season will start!

私のまわりのプチ楽しみ！（２）

  前回私の部屋の小さな植物について話したとき(2/14)、糸まきをするちっちゃな植物をご紹介しましたが、約１ヶ月経ち、今では２倍の大きさになりました！…そして、そのとき別の植物についていたただの点だったちっちゃな蕾が只今成長しております。
 

　　　それから２週間後

　　　そして、今

　植物のこういうちいさな変化を見つけるのがたまらなく好きなんです。

　先日は、雑貨屋さんで初めての種類（私にとっては！）の多肉植物が目に止まりました。（これまた、私にとっては！）ちょっと高かったのですが、日光も入らないこんなところにおいては行けないと、一緒に家に連れて帰らねばという責任感に駆られ、今は部屋でいつも私のそばにいます。一つ一つの葉が亀の足が空に向かって突き出ているようでしょ？ユーモアたっぷり！

　そして、もう一つ、昨日買ってしまいました。赤系の多肉植物。もちろん春には緑に変わると思いますが、うまく育てられれば！今年の秋にはキレイな色が楽しめるでしょう。　

　もう春です！花のシーズンがスタートです！
