Solar Eclipse

 
  It’s been a week since people in Japan enjoyed the mysterious phenominon¹. ( I couldn’t update my blog because our card reader was broken. Now I got a new one, so I’m ready to put the photos up! )

 We also enjoyed the solar eclipse ! In our case, we didn’t get special glasses to observe the sun, but we made a pinhole on a piece of cardboard² and showed it on another piece of paper.

 Here is what I got ! It’s not the best photo because it was a busy time in the morning, getting ready to go to work, and I couldn’t spend much time trying³ to get the best shot of the sun. However, even this photo, which is a bit blurred⁴, is still not a bad thing to look at to remember the fun moment !

  With a little trick, I was able to multiply⁵ the sun. 
( At this point, the moon started to move away.)

 Anyway, I’m so lucky to be able to talk about a solar eclipse and a lunar eclipse on the blog in the last 6 months.

Since I had two chances at least to think about the heavens, I started to toy with⁶ the idea of how microscopic⁷ human beings must look if you could see us from the whole universe. What human beings are to the universe is like what microbes⁸ are  to human beings, maybe? Or maybe far more microscopic???

 I don’t know the answer, but for sure it was really fun to see the world around us on a cosmic⁹ scale.

日食

           
　日本の人たちが神秘的な現象を楽しんでから一週間が経ちました。（カードリーダ―が壊れていたので、ブログをアップ出来ませんでしたが、新しいのを買ってきたので、やっと写真をアップします！）

私たちも日食を見ましたよ！私たちは、太陽を観るメガネを買わなかったので、厚紙にピンホールを開けて、もう一枚の紙に太陽を映しました。

　これがそのときに撮ったもの！出勤の準備をする、朝のバタバタしている時間帯だったので、太陽のベストショットを撮るのに時間をたくさん使えませんでした。でも、ちょっとピンぼけのこの写真でも、あの楽しかったときを思い出す目的で見るには十分！

　ちょっと手を加えれば、太陽を増殖することも。
（この時点で、月がかなりズレ始めました。）

　それにしても、ここ半年のうちにブログに日食と月食が載せられるなんてなんてついているんでしょう。

　少なくとも２度も天体について考える機会があったので、もし宇宙から私たちを見ることが出来たら、どれだけ人間はちっぽけなのかなぁなんてあれこれ考え始めてしまいました。人間と宇宙の関係は、微生物と人間の関係ぐらいのものなのかしら？？？それとも、それ以上に微小なもの？

　答えは分からないけど、とりあえずはっきり言えることは、自分の周りの世界を宇宙規模で考えることはとても楽しかったということでした。
