Tricolor TV Tower
  
Something quotidian1 — We sometimes forget to appreciate2 those things, don’t we? Even though it could be something nice, its value can be lost when we live our lives as a routine3.
Especially because there are no holidays in June, my life tends to be monotonous and I often find my life a bit hard to enjoy — rather dull. So, to remind myself that my life is still fun, I decided to have a "Let’s find something fun" campaign.( by myself ! )
Ta-da ! It took a while ( after I thought about this ) to capture all the colors of the TV tower. Finally, I got all three! I got these shots from the window of my teaching room. At this time of the season, still some cool air came in when I opened the window to take the photos. That was also fun!
Also, since they were not lit up4 for a long long time after the earthquake, it is kind of reassuring5 that our living environment is slowly coming back to normal.
As you probably know, these colors tell the weather for the next day. Well, here at this point, shall we quickly review the colors just in case? OK! From the left, green means rain or snow. White means clear skies, and orange means cloudy. Personally, I always wish they were the opposite.
Anyway, it also makes me feel good to see our same old6 life from some fresh point of view. Sometimes we need a little trick7 to enjoy our everyday life. ( It’s hard to keep doing it, though. )
And while I was preparing this, I noticed that back there, the Sendai broadcasting company’s tower is also lit up not only in8 three colors but in MULTI colors! I didn’t know that! They go blue-purple-pink-orange-yellow-green-and back to blue. Pretty fun!
What can I enjoy next !?

三色のテレビ塔
日々のありきたりのこと — ときどきありがたく思うのを忘れてしまいますよね。それが素敵なものでも、お決まりのこととして毎日を暮らしていると、その価値も掻き消されてしまいます。
特に、６月は祝日がないので、生活が単調になりがちで、生活が楽しめなかったり、むしろつまらないと感じてしまうことがよくあります。だから、自分の生活が満更でもないということを思い出すために、「なにか楽しいことを見つけよう！」運動を展開してみました。（一人で！）
こちらです！（これを思いついてから）テレビ塔の全てのライトアップの色を集めるのにちょっと時間がかかりましたが、３色すべて揃いました。私が教室に使っている部屋の窓からの写真です。この時期、写真を撮ろうと窓を開けると、まだ夜のひんやりした空気が入ってきて、それもまた心地良かったぁ！
そしてまた、地震後だいぶ長い間点灯されていなかったので、私たちの生活がゆっくりと元に戻りつつあるんだなと、なんか安堵感のようなものも感じさせてくれました。
恐らくご存じだと思いますが、これらの色は次の日の天気を伝えてくれています。さて、ここらでちょっと復習しておきましょうか？必要になったときのために。OK！左から、緑は雨または雪。白は晴れ、オレンジは曇り。個人的には、最後の２つは逆だといいなといつも思っているんですけどね。
ま、いつもの同じ生活を何かしら新鮮な視点で眺めるのは、なんかいい気分にさせてくれるものですね。ときどき、自分の日々の暮らしを楽しむためにちょっとした工夫が必要なんですね。（常にやるのは難しいけど・・・）
そして、これを書いているあいだ、このテレビ塔の後ろに、仙台放送のテレビ塔が、３色どころではなく、なんと多色でライトアップされているのに気付きました。知らなかった～！それは、ブルー・紫・ピンク・オレンジ・黄色・緑・そしてまたブルーと変わって行きます。なかなか綺麗！
次は何を楽しもうかしら？
しばらくは、ウィンブルドンかな？
