  I have introduced our friend who paints and makes jewelry before. (→see our blog on February 21, 2014 and October 6, 2013 ) The other day, she had another show, and I visited there.

  When I went into the place, right away a very nice atmosphere¹ struck² me. I enjoyed the light colored summer scheme³ against the white wall. This time, the show was pieces by our friend and a pottery⁴ maker. Our friend’s blue-toned⁵ paintings and the other artist’s whitish color with a touch of blue of glaze⁶ harmonized perfectly! I was healed in this quiet and soothing⁷ space!

  …. and it was so funny. 2 days after I experiened the warmth which art brings, I bumped into⁸ another chance to experience a similar thing. An old woman who just passed in front of our house gave these things to us: hand-made toothpick⁹ holders.

  This happened while Will was taking care of his pumpkins outside(They are getting bigger!! We’ll introduce them soon!). The lady who was in the middle of her walk stopped and she and Will talked about pumpkins for a while. Then, as she left, she got these out¹⁰, saying "I made these. Please use them." What a nice encounter¹¹!

  What makes hand-made things warm is that we can feel the heart of the person who made them. Isn’t it true?
