   It was so funny that I’m going to share this story here.

 

   Introduction ….. In my make-up pouch, there is a cute round can which contains¹ face powder, which my friend recommended to² me.

　　　　 

   

  It’s sometimes nice to break a routine³. That gives us a chance to open a door to a new discovery! One day a year ago or so, when I was going to retouch my make-up⁴ at my workplace after eating lunch, I noticed that I had left⁵ my pouch at home. Unlike now, when we can cover more than a half of our face with a mask, I had to put something on my face to "fake" my face to look like a person full of energy.

 

  In the bathroom, I asked one of my friends who happened to be there to donate⁶ some puffs of foundation and a tiny touch of lip color. Instead of just saying "sure", she said, "Oh, let me do your face!" All I had to do⁷ was just close my eyes and stand still facing her. I’m so lucky to have so many nice sisters around me at my workplace.

 

 

  I really liked that face powder which brightens up the tone of my skin naturally. Soon after that, I bought the same thing! Thanks to her, it is one of my favorite things.

  

 

  Here comes the main story ….

  Now it’s been a while since I started using that face powder. The other day, when I opened the top, I saw …. a Smiley!
    
It was like a happy clover. Since then, I had been trying not to use the powder from the center and enjoying this cute little thing popping up⁸ when I open the package. I enjoyed this for a week or so, then…

   

  A couple of days ago, when I opened the top, Oh, no!! A runny nose? …who expect this tragedy⁹ at the end?

 

  Please excuse me for talking about this kind of thing.

 

 

  Just F.I.Y. — Kids use "Boogers" in the U.S. and "bogies" in the U.K. to mean the things that come out of your nose. Harry Potter, Ron and Hermione fight with a troll and Harry gets troll bogies on his magic wand¹⁰… Yuck!
