Fresh from the Garden 2
Voila! I have to update our blog with this before it gets too old( I mean this photo, not the blueberries! ). When I talked about our rapsberries before, these blueberries were still unripe1, but a couple of weeks after that, they were ready to be picked. I took the photo at that time and kept it, but I almost forgot about it. Whew!2
We put these blueberries on top of our breakfast yogurt, and enjoyed them in luxury3 for a few days! (You won’t believe it. We buy 8-9 packs of yogurt a week. I’m sure that the co-op ladies know that we are the customers who corner4 the yogurt every Sunday evening.f(^-^;) )
Today I noticed some blueberries still on the bush are turning dark blue5, so it’s not going to be too long before6 we can enjoy them fresh from the garden once again.
Speaking of7 something from the garden, last night, this baby smail visited our kitchen, hanging on8 the container which came back from our compost.(We recycle all of our kitchen waste, and this little guy probably hitched a ride9 when Will was burying the waste10 in the compost pile11.( I took him to his home nice and safe12 after his adventurous trip inside!
