All in One
There are three things which make me happy in this photo!
#1 story : The Other day when I went shopping to buy a present for somebody, I happened to see1 some things that grabbed2 my heart and couldn’t resist buying3 them. A reduced price tag4 in red ink — that’s a sign of danger!
Among the items on the special deal5, I bumped into6 dark brick colored red plates. I fell love with that color in the blink of an eye7. The design is quite simple but somehow cute. The size is perfect for our daily use. So they came home with me!
#2 story:Later on the same day, one of my students gave me a bottle of Ceylon cinnamon, which I had been looking for. I had tried several major import food stores, but no luck. She knew that and got it for me when she saw it, and gave it to me in return8 for me giving her some plants the previous week. (Thank you so much!)
The next day, I made cinnamon toast with that cinnamon. Ceylon cinnamon is supposed to be9 good for you, giving much less burden10 to our liver than regular cinnamon, which I learned recently. It smells and tastes slightly like anise, I would11 say. Since I want to strengthen12 the wall of my blood vessels which must be damaged by my frequent migraines, I want to intake cinnamon often, so I need this better kind.
That’s why this photo has the stuff which makes me happy. Of course, coffee is #3!
~*~* a special feature *~*~ How to make cinnamon toast spread!
My friend’s mom gave me a recipe when I was in junior high school. Since then, it’s been one of my favorite snacks! You need just 3 things: butter or margerine, cinnamon, and granulated13 sugar. Just put the 3 items together and mix them. You might need a bit more granulated sugar than you think. Spread it on a piece of bread and toast it until the cinnamon butter melts and gets crispy. You can keep the mixture in the fridge for a while.
