Funny names!
I’m sure that when makers think about their products’ names, they carefully choose a name, thinking how the names will attract people or appeal to1 people.
We can assume what they intend2 from the names: Ban, the deordorant, which conveys3 the meaning that they products will Ban the odor4 of the human body. RiUp(probably Re-Up), the hair restorer, from which we can tell that will help hair come out (or shoot UP5) AGAIN.
On the other hand, sometimes we bump into6 some names which don’t go with the products. For example, look at this!
This is a bike, but somehow it’s named "FROMAGE", which means "cheese" in French. A possible interpretation7 is this bike can run smoothly like how cheese melts. Do you buy8 that?
Or how about this one? It is something you eat, but they named "baby bottom." Sensational!
I understand they want to describe how soft it is by its name, but… This exquisitely9 unreal relation between the word and the substance10 can attract people like me and be a huge temptation11 for me to experience it. (It was bread filled with custard.)
The photo is blurry12, but maybe that is good. Maybe it’s like the mosaic on photos which we are not supposed to13 show openly! I shouldn’t show a baby’s bottom here. Ha ha!

おかしな名前！
作り手が製品の名前を考えるとき、それがどんな風に人を惹き付けるか、または人に訴えかけるかをよく考えて名前を付けるでしょう。
名前を見れば何を意図しているか察することが出来ます。たとえば、制汗剤のBan。それはヒトの臭いを「禁じる」という意味を伝えてきます。育毛剤のRiUPは、その名前から、「もう一度髪の毛を出させよう」という意味が取れます。
ところが、時々製品と名前がかみ合わない名前に出くわすことも。たとえば、これを見て下さい！
自転車なのですが、なぜか「フロマージュ」。フランス語の「チーズ」。可能な解釈は、この自転車はチーズが溶けるかのごとくなめらかに走る？いかがかしら？
または、こちらはどうでしょう？口にするものなのに、「赤ちゃんのおしり」。スゴッ！
その名前でこれがどれほど柔らかいかを伝えたいのは分かるけど・・・。この絶妙であり得ない言葉と実態との関係。私のような人間の心をつかみ、赤ちゃんのおしりとやらを試したいという思いに駆り立てたのです。（カスタードが入ったパンでした・・・）
写真がピンボケなのですが、たぶんそのほうがいいでしょう。公に見せることができない写真にかかっているモザイクのようですから。赤ちゃんのおしりをここに載せる訳にはいきませんからね。ハハ！
