Happy New Year! We wish you a lot of happiness in 2026! Now here is the answer to our New Year’s riddle : Why do people love to have horses living near them? The answer is “They are good ‘NEIGH’bors”. As we gave you a clue on our new year’s card, horses say “Neigh” in English. So it’s a pun. 明けましておめでとうございます！ 2026年多くの幸せが皆さんに訪れますように！
今年の年賀状に載せたなぞなぞは 「なぜ人々は馬を身近で飼うのが好きなのでしょうか？」 でしたが、答えは．．．
「馬は良い隣人になるから」 でした！正解しましたか？
ヒントを差し上げたように、馬の鳴き声は英語で“neigh(ネイ)”。それを近所の人たちを表す“neighbors”と掛けたという訳です。
